Happy Halloween!!!!

Trick or Treat!!!!!

It took me a while to learn this one! I practiced and practiced, but those "tr" words are difficult to say. Mommy kept giggling at me when I said, "tick or teat." I'll get better for next year!

Originally, I was going to be a bag of flour for Halloween. Sounds silly, huh? Well, my neighbor Bryce was a baker. Our mommies wanted us to dress up together. Daddy and I weren't very pleased with my homemade costume. I wouldn't even let Miss Catharina take my picture in it!

On Halloween night, I decided I wanted to be "Pink Princess Cinderella." I dressed up and Grandma took lots of pictures. I walked around the neighborhood. Lots of people made comments of what a pretty little princess I was. I had to correct them and tell them, "No, pink Cinderella." I thought it was amazing that all I had to say was "tick or teat" and then people gave me candy! I can't wait til next year!

Daddy's Graduation

Bad boys, bad boys, watcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when my daddy comes for you?

October 12, 2007 was a big deal at our house. Daddy graduated from the CARLOTA Police Academy. It is about time Daddy! He was gone for 18 weeks Monday through Friday. Mommy and I missed him so much. Great Grandma, Auntie Denyse and Uncle Kirk came all the way from San Diego to see Daddy graduate. I know it was a big deal, but my favorite part of the day was driving in Grandma's truck for the first time.

When we arrived to the school that Daddy went to, we heard all of Daddy's classmates marching and singing loudly. Then they lined up in the sun and stood there while a bunch of other men walked around them looking them up and down. Mommy called this an "inspection." I didn't like it much because Daddy was four rows back, and I couldn't see him well. I did see my friends Jon and Sal though. Jon was holding the big flag. I wanted to go play with him so badly, but Mommy wouldn't let me.

After this "inspection" thing, we all went into a big auditorium. I was really, really tired so I fell asleep in Mommy's arms. Then, all of a sudden, loud bag pipes started up, and I could no longer sleep. After the bag pipes, everyone started clapping. I didn't like that. It was so loud and it was a little dark, so I asked Grandma to go outside with me. I was having so much fun outside, I didn't see the rest of Daddy's graduation. Mommy said it was very nice though. Auntie Denyse took lots of pictures.

Now Daddy is a Pinal County Sheriff Deputy. He is working in Casa Grande, which is pretty close to home still. I love Daddy's police car. It is the coolest thing in the world. I like to just sit in the passenger seat and look at all the buttons. Daddy tells me not to touch anything and that this is the only part of a cop's car I should ever see.....whatever that means.

Daddy is still in training. He works for 14 weeks as an OIT (officer in training). After that, he gets to bring his police car home every night. He works four days a week, so I see him a lot more now!

Hi everyone! It sure has been a busy time around our house. I'm sure you all know that Daddy is going to the Police Academy. He only has two more weeks to go! I sure am happy about that since it is harder and harder for me to let him leave as the weeks pass. Daddy's graduation is coming up real soon. Daddy has been teaching me how to march around the house, so I will sure be ready to go!

Mommy had bad news for me a couple of weeks ago. My friend Miss Michele needed to help her son Big Brother Shawn at his school, so she wasn't going to be able to hang out with me during the week anymore. Mommy found me a new friend, Miss Tammie, but I just am not quite adjusted yet. Mommy says that I am not good with change and Grandma insists that I will get used to it. Honestly, I just really miss the cookies at Miss Michele's house.

My favorite thing to do now adays is to hang out in the kitchen and get in Mommy or Grandma's way. I push my red chair around all over the place, and I can climb up and see whatever they are doing. I love to help make breakfast, lunch or dinner. I like to mix things, like the pancake batter on the weekends. The best thing about helping is getting to taste the food. My favorite thing to taste is the cheese that has just been shredd. YUM-O!

My second favorite thing to do is watch "Cars" in Grandma's room. I like to cuddle under her blankets and watch Car, Sally, Mater, Red, Luigi, and Pit-Stop. Sometimes we also watch "Cinderella" in her room. That is my second favorite movie. I love to sing with Cinderella and the mice.

My third favorite thing to do is watch baseball with Grandma and sometimes Mommy. Grandma gets crazy. She yells and screams at the the TV like those players can hear her. It makes me laugh. Sometimes I yell and scream with her. I really love to yell "CHARGE!!" I am also pretty good at singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." It would be even better if I could get my fingers to cooperate when I do the "one, two, three strikes you're out" part.
I hope everyone is doing well. Daddy graduates in two weeks, so we are going to have a BBQ for him. I am hoping Mommy remembers the hot dogs. Until next time, hugs and kisses from your little angel. XOXO
